Feature Request

Maybe I'm missing something, but when I record a meeting and move the Shadow's recording control off the screen, it disappears. This forces me to shut down the app, resulting in the loss of my recording. Is there a menu option to reveal the controls again?

Sometimes we have offline meetings that we record using voice recorder on ios. I'd like to be able to upload these audio files and have them transcribed just like a meeting. Alternatively if the iOS app comes out, give it the ability to record offline without an internet connect, then to sync to the server later.

I would love the ability to type in the name of a Speaker in one transcript and have that translate to all other past and future transcripts that had similar tonal sounds. If someone's voice is consistent across meetings I would like the ability to be suggested "is this Ben?" and confirm yes or no post processing.

At the moment, when I occasionally forget to turn off Shadow's listening mode after a meeting, Shadow keeps listening until I do. Sometimes it's left on for hours. It would be great if there were a way in the settings to have Shadow Auto Stop its Listening Mode after a set amount of time (eg. 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours).

Shadow is great -- thanks for creating it! Currently, when I mute my external microphone, the meeting cannot be recorded. However, when I mute Zoom or Meet, the system can still capture the audio. It would be very useful to capture audio at the system level, as this could improve the clarity of the recording quality.

I just came off an hour call. It picked the wrong microphone and…at the end I got "failed" Likely it didn't hear the record - but if I'm in a meeting and we're at minute 6? Internally you should be notifying me if nothing is heard/recognized. Just start a process that quickly checks after a couple of minutes a snippet of sound (or use something real time) and if NOTHING is being recognized, Alert the user.

Mac Whisper's Turkish transcription is somewhat better than Shadow's. I believe you use the same base models so it shouldn't be much difficult to catch up with it. Other than this you really rock!

Shadow only has ears now👂. However, soon, Shadow will be able to see what you see 👀 and capture key slides or screens from your video calls rather than recording everything.
